Spike comes in two different sitting positions to suit multiple degrees of disabilities. The seated position is best suitable for people with a higher degree of disability or who otherwise can’t sit on their knees. How do I steer Spike?

To steer Spike you easily tilt your upper body to the left to go left and tilt your upper body to the right to go right. This is done simultaneously as you are creating forward propulsion or when you are going downhill and already have the speed you need. This means that you can change direction without stopping forward propulsion. Have a look at this video to learn more about steering Spike.

How do I brake with my Spike?

Spike is equipped with two individual brakes located at each side of the seat. One brake handle is controlling the front brakes, and one brake handle is controlling the rear brakes. To brake you simply push the brake handles which are similar to brake handles on a bike. Both brake handles are also equipped with handbrakes which makes getting on and off of Spike safe and simple. Can I attach an electric engine to my Spike?

Currently this is not an option, but maybe in the future this would be possible.
